Dr. Thomas Tuszynski is Samaritan’s full-time, on-staff general surgeon. He earned his doctor of medicine (MD) degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston for his General Surgery residency, where he became Chief Resident of General Surgery. He then attended the University of Washington in Seattle for his cardiothoracic residency, where he was promoted to Chief Resident of Cardiothoracic Surgery.

As a general surgeon at Samaritan Healthcare, Dr. Tuszynski performs general surgery procedures—diagnosing and surgically treating a wide range of medical conditions in a variety of techniques, including traditional and minimally invasive surgeries.
