Samaritan Healthcare’s Adult and Internal Medicine team specializes in providing care for adults ages 18 or older, in all stages of life—from young adult to elder health—with a focus on disease prevention.
Our adult primary care providers’ and hospitalist’s expertise includes caring for patients with common, complex adult conditions. They see patients with complicated medical histories, including those with multiple conditions or taking multiple medications.
As primary care providers, they consult and coordinate with specialists to diagnose and treat complex health conditions such as COPD, diabetes, sleep apnea, severe obesity, and other disorders that commonly affect adults. They also focus on early disease detection and prevention, which regular annual wellness exams for an overall health evaluation, immunizations, and screenings. Patients receive education and early treatment for predisposed factors, such as weight or high blood pressure early to avoid future health issues.
