Brett DeGooyer, DO, is our sports medicine doctor who joins Dr. Leo Chough and Chris Stone, PA-C, on Samaritan Healthcare’s orthopaedic care team. Whether an injury or medical concern occurs in the workplace or the home, participating in recreation, or as an athlete with a sports injury, Dr. DeGooyer’s active approach to healing can help and offers a wide range of care for an injury that does not require surgery.
Dr. DeGooyer was fellowship trained as a sports medicine doctor, providing a higher level of knowledge and expertise, plus he has a wide range of professional experience in caring for athletes and patients of all ages. He is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care for patients at Samaritan.
Along with being our highly skilled, on-staff orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Chough is also a fellowship-trained sports medicine doctor with a Sports Medicine Fellowship with the Philadelphia’s Eagles (NFL) and Flyers (NHL) teams. He has also provided sports medicine for athletes in college sports, and both men’s and women’s pro teams.
