Dr. Emily Brestin enjoys pediatrics because of the variety. Whether a standard well-child appointment or treating an illness, every visit is different – and makes a difference. Her approach to patient care is to focus on a specific applicable topic during each visit, allowing for more in-depth conversation and leaving time to address any caregiver concerns.

Dr. Brestin believes this open-ended approach helps her form trusting relationships with patients in Moses Lake. She wants families to find something useful from each visit, letting them lead the way and partnering together to ensure their child’s health.

After completing her medical education at the Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, she worked with children in orphanages and found her passion for pediatrics. She returned to the U.S. for clinicals in Baltimore, Maryland, and a residency in Des Moines, Iowa.

When she isn’t caring for children in the Moses Lake area, Dr. Brestin is an avid fan of hiking, backpacking, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
