Danika Burton is a physician assistant at Samaritan Healthcare’s CareToday clinic. She treats various non-life-threatening conditions — including minor injuries and illnesses, fevers, sprains, burns, and fractures — on a walk-in basis, with no appointment required.

By making personal connections, Danika builds trusting relationships with patients and can provide personalized, informed care. She enjoys the constant challenges of her job and is always seeking to learn new skills.

Originally from Kansas, Danika spent time in Colorado before landing in Moses Lake. She loves the CareToday team and the flexibility to collaborate with specialties and primary care providers. Danika also loves the tight-knit Moses Lake community and plans on planting long-term roots here.

After earning her Bachelor of Science from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, Danika earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Wichita State University.

In her free time, Danika loves traveling, experiencing other cultures, and being outdoors whenever possible. Whether hiking, biking, skiing, or enjoying watersports, she is happy as long as she’s active and spending time with her dog, an Australian Shepherd.
