Dr. Curtis Papenfuss appreciates the opportunity to provide care in his healthcare specialties of family medicine and sports medicine at Samaritan Healthcare. He offers primary care for patients of all ages, from infants to elders, as well as sports medicine treatments with Dr. Leo Chough and Dr. Brett DeGooyer as a member of the orthopaedics team.

He discovered his passion for healthcare from a young age—inspired by the doctors who aided him in recovering from the athletic injuries of his youth. Recognizing the impact these medical providers had on his life, Dr. Papenfuss chose to dedicate himself to helping others in similar ways. The opportunity to treat patients of all generations in family medicine, coupled with his passion for sports medicine, allows him to provide care for  patients with a wide range of conditions.

Dr. Papenfuss appreciates seeing young couples and families moving back to Moses Lake, due to the benefits and values of small-town living. When he’s not providing primary/sports medicine care for the community, he enjoys golfing with family and friends, playing basketball, tubing with his family on the lake, and supporting youth sports on the weekends.
