Clay Wistisen is a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at Samaritan’s CareToday walk-in clinic, offering care for minor injuries and non-life-threatening concerns, such as fevers, earaches, sprains, cuts, and burns.
Clay enjoys building relationships with patients as he educates, advocates, and provides personalized care. Using a patient-centered approach, Clay combines evidence-based medicine with empathy, focused on preventative care and patient empowerment.
Going the extra mile is par for the course for Clay as he strives for patients to see him as compassionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated. Clay shares Samaritan’s patient-focused, community-driven mission and enjoys being part of an organization that values patient outcomes and well-being.
Clay received his bachelor’s degree in public health from Brigham Young University-Idaho and his Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) master’s degree from Marquette University. He also completed a post-graduate certificate as a family nurse practitioner from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Clay enjoys staying active by playing golf and going to the gym, reading, and spending quality time with his family.
