Dr. Alexis Rogers is the medical director of CareToday at Samaritan Clinic, where she and her team treat minor injuries and illnesses, such as fevers, sprains, burns, and other non-life-threatening concerns.

Dr. Rogers enjoys CareToday because it combines the variety of family medicine with the faster pace of an emergency room. She finds fulfillment in providing immediate care as she can meet the needs of patients at different times in their lives. Her care approach involves including patients in their care decisions, using evidence-based information, and an ongoing willingness to try innovative methods.

Dr. Rogers completed medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, as well as a residency at Clarkson Family Medicine, also in Omaha. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.

When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Rogers enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, baking, and painting, as well as spending quality time with her children and dog.

She looks forward to meeting community members and is thrilled to provide care in an environment that fosters individualized, personal patient relationships.
