SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE RESTRICTS VISITORS ON MOTHER BABY UNIT TO TWO VISITORS PER PATIENT

Moses Lake – On Monday, March 9, Samaritan Hospital officials received additional information related to visitor precautions, and based on the information presented by the Grant County Health District, the Hospital will be limiting visitors to the Mother Baby Unit to two people per patient.

Upon an expectant mother’s admission to Samaritan Hospital, Mother Baby Unit staff will apply two visitor bands; last name, visitor #1, and last name, visitor #2.  After the birth of the baby, the primary support person who is staying with the mother will have their hand written band removed and the second baby band applied.  These two visitors will be the only visitors allowed onto the Mother Baby Unit during the stay.

For any questions related to the updated visitor policy, please contact the charge nurse on the Mother Baby Unit at 509-793-9750. You may also visit samaritanhealthcare.com for more information.
