Amanda Froisland, DNP, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner at Samaritan’s Family Medicine department, where she delivers compassionate, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. With a strong focus on disease prevention and patient education, Amanda is dedicated to supporting individuals and families in achieving lasting wellness—wherever they are in life.

Amanda has a deep-rooted passion for family-centered care, rural health, women’s health, and mental well-being. Her background as a labor and delivery nurse continues to inform her holistic, empathetic approach, especially when working with women and young families. She values the continuity and connection that family medicine offers and believes that building long-term relationships with her patients is key to improving health outcomes.

Originally from Utah, Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Utah Tech University and went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Idaho State University.

Outside of her work at Samaritan, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family—often gardening, exploring the outdoors, or traveling together. She finds joy in growing her own food, reading, and embracing the slower rhythms of life that rural living allows.
