Dr. Matthew Lockwood is the full-time, on-staff Medical Director of our Emergency Department (ED). He considers it an honor to provide care for patients who arrive at the ED in one of the most vulnerable situations in their lives.

Dr. Lockwood applies the best evidence-based principles of emergency medicine while carefully listening to the patients and their families. He enjoys being able to attend to their concerns and medical conditions, and to provide each patient with a plan to move forward. His straightforward approach means he treats patients in the manner he would want his own loved ones to be treated if they were in a similar situation.

When Dr. Lockwood isn’t providing care for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, running, caring for his pets, gaming with his boys, and traveling.
