Dr. Caroline Hannon’s interest in medicine began when she joined a search and rescue organization in high school, where she observed prehospital and wilderness medicine in action. Working for an EMS crew and ambulance service later further confirmed her interest and led to medical school, where she ultimately served her graduate medical residency in emergency medicine.

Now, Dr. Hannon loves the variety of care she provides in emergency medicine and quotes a doctor who called it, “the most interesting 15 minutes of every other specialty.” As a physician in the emergency department she appreciates being able to touch the lives of people from all walks of life and to provide them comfort, while caring for their medical conditions. She also enjoys the strong sense of community at Samaritan, as well as in Moses Lake.

When Dr. Hannon is not providing patient care, she loves to hike, workout, bake, and spend time with family and friends. She and her husband have an eight-month-old son and a German shepherd.
