Alex Town was appointed Chief Administrative Officer in 2021. As CAO, Alex is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic financial plans and operational priorities. He is also accountable for the direction and oversight of the following departments; Accounting/Finance, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain, IT Services, Compliance, and Samaritan Clinics operations. Prior to Samaritan, Alex served as Vice President of Finance at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston, WA for 13 years. With over 20 years of healthcare experience & education, Alex is excited to bring his knowledge and leadership to Samaritan. Alex earned his Masters of Health Policy and Administration from Washington State University, and his Bachelors of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Eastern Washington University.
