PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN DR. STEPHEN NOORLANDER JOINS SAMARITAN HEALTHCARE
MOSES LAKE – Samaritan Healthcare is pleased to announce that Stephen Noorlander, MD, has joined their Family Medicine team. Dr. Noorlander will provide primary care including preventive health, well-child exams, and routine care for adults and children.His expertise also includes care for depression, anxiety, weight loss, adult and child special needs, musculoskeletal disorders, chronic conditions, and more. He is also fluent in Russian, which allows him to connect and communicate with patients when English is not their primary language.
“I spend time talking with my patients and listening to understand their life situations and circumstances to find the best way to help them,” said Dr. Noorlander. “I believe that patients should have a huge say in the future of their health.”
Dr. Noorlander provides education, guidance, and support to help patients make choices about their own health and to help them take steps toward reaching their goals.
“I team up with my patients—they’re not alone in facing these issues. We’ll look at lifestyle changes they can make to take control of their conditions, or sometimes medication is a better fit,”
Dr. Noorlander added. “Together, we come up with ways to improve their physical and mental health.” Dr. Noorlander earned his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. He completed his family medicine residency with Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. Dr. Noorlander grew up in Utah, and is looking forward to returning west and caring for patients in Moses Lake.
“It’s not just about treating symptoms; it’s about seriously helping people. It’s about serving people and families in the community,” said Dr. Noorlander. “I’m excited to do that here.”
