Physician Assistant Diane Savarese Joins Samaritan Healthcare
MOSES LAKE – Samaritan Healthcare is pleased to announce that Diane Savarese, PA-C, has joined their CareToday team.
As a board-certified physician assistant, she brings experience in emergency medicine and expertise in caring for urgent medical needs.
Diane joins the providers at CareToday at Samaritan Clinic on Pioneer in providing walk-in care for non-life-threatening concerns such as treating minor injuries and illnesses, fevers, earaches, sprains, cuts, burns, fractures, and more.
In addition to treating immediate concerns, she coordinates care with patients’ primary providers and specialists for medical conditions that require ongoing treatment.
“I strive to help my patients feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally,” shared Savarese. “Whether I’m suturing a laceration, setting a fracture, prescribing medication, or referring them to a specialist for ongoing long-term care, my main focus is getting my patients where they need to be. Helping people get through a tough spot in their day or week is very rewarding.”
Diane earned her Master of Science in physician assistant studies with a concentration in emergency medicine from Rush University in Chicago, IL. As part of the physician assistant program, she completed an additional six months of training and gained valuable experience working with patients of diverse backgrounds with different needs and experiences. She received her bachelor of science in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ.
“I want my patients to know that I’m on their team. I listen to their concerns and I ask questions so we can ensure that we accomplish what they would like to get out of our visit,” said Savarese. “Sometimes I’m able to provide them with the answers they’re looking for, but if I’m not, I connect them with providers who can.”
