We welcome Dr. Kameron Firouzi to our OB/GYN team at Samaritan Healthcare! Dr. Firouzi was born at Samaritan Hospital and raised in Moses Lake. He enjoys providing care in his hometown and he’s dedicated to being available to his patients.

Dr. Firouzi offers comprehensive OB/GYN care, from adolescent health, hormone imbalance, infertility concerns, and menopause, to delivering babies. His expertise in gynecological surgeries allows him to provide state-of-the-art surgical care right here—from minimally invasive procedures, including hysterectomies, as well as urinary incontinence procedures, endometrial ablation, tubal ligations, pelvic reconstruction, and more.

“My focus on women’s health was shaped by my upbringing with sisters and early exposure to women’s health issues in medical school,” said Dr. Firouzi. “I listen to patients with an empathetic approach and encourage shared decision-making. I will always do what’s right for my patients, even if it means sacrificing personal time. I have an unwavering dedication and commitment to my patients and to my community.”

Dr. Firouzi earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle. He performed his Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix, expanded his experience with its Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery Program, and is experienced in performing surgical procedures using the da Vinci robotic surgical system.

“I moved from practicing medicine in Arizona to Moses Lake, because it’s my hometown and I have family here,” said Dr. Firouzi. “I’ve always wanted to return home permanently to provide healthcare services for residents in the community that had been so supportive of my family throughout my childhood.”

Dr. Firouzi married his high school sweetheart and they enjoy being active. They have one child, plus two dogs that quickly learned the benefits of hanging out under the high chair. He enjoys sports, such as golf, basketball, softball, and hunting for pheasants and ducks.
