FAMILY CARE
Behavioral and Mental Health
Samaritan Healthcare’s Behavioral and Mental Health service provides a holistic approach to behavioral and mental healthcare—bridging physical, mental, and behavioral health needs to care for the whole person. Behavioral Health is conveniently located in the Family Medicine Department, which helps to remove barriers or stigma for those needing outpatient treatment..
Behavioral Health providers include Teresa Hutsell and Jonathan Ingram, both ARNP, PMHNP-BC; and Liz Walker and Fabian Gonzales, licensed mental health counselors.
Dr. Katie Kist is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult treatment. She treats a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, ADHD, and parent-child attachment issues. Dr. Kist believes in a holistic approach that blends mind and body.
Together they work closely with Family Medicine physicians and providers to offer integrated care and coordinate treatments and care plans for patients of all ages, potentially including counseling or medication. The Behavioral and Mental Health team understands the importance of listening and caring for patients with empathy and support, and the willingness to go the extra mile.
