Student Volunteer Program

Student Volunteers Wanted!

Samaritan Healthcare is proud to bring back our Student Volunteer Program this summer. Student volunteer rotations consist of three different placements within the organization, allowing students to experience helping others in both clinical and nonclinical areas.

Student volunteers will:

  • Expand their resumes.
  • Learn a good bedside manner and healthcare operations.
  • Learn to communicate clearly and in a professional manner.
  • Receive hands-on experience in the healthcare field.

There are three volunteer rotation options. Student volunteers must commit to their entire two-week session (10 consecutive business days, no weekends). All rotations are Monday-Friday, 9a.m.-3p.m.

Rotation Dates:

Session 1: June 15-26
Session 2: July 6-17
Session 3: July 20-31

Students must be 15 years or older to volunteer. Volunteers must be enrolled in school (whether that be high school or college) and applicants must be able to provide proof of enrollment.

You may find the Student Volunteer application here

 Applications are due May 1st.
