Samaritan Podiatry

Dr Amidi Podiatrist

Dr. Daren Vernon, DPM, is board certified with the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He specializes in foot and ankle trauma and performs state-of-the-art surgery and treatment from the ankle down. In addition to specializing in surgical procedures, Dr. Vernon’s high level of care also includes diabetic and routine foot treatments, reconstruction, sports injuries, and other procedures.

He graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Vernon gained additional surgical training while performing his residency at the Houston Podiatric Foundation. He also graduated from Brigham Young University and attended Ricks College in Idaho.

Dr. Vernon has been providing podiatry treatments to Moses Lake residents for 21 years.  He joined the Samaritan Healthcare Association of Samaritan Physicians in 1999 after being in private practice locally for three years.

He was born in Moses Lake and grew up in the area. His hobbies include softball and bowling, as well as performing in local musical productions. He is proud to call Moses Lake his home.

Arezou Amidi, DPM, is also a podiatrist at Samaritan Healthcare. She is board-qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and completed fellowship training on foot and ankle surgery and reconstruction. Her state-of-the-art expertise means if you have foot or ankle pain or trauma, you no longer need to suffer, but can have it treated.

Dr. Amidi specializes in treating trauma of the foot and ankle, fractures, sports injuries, wound care, diabetic complications, prescription orthotics, and much more. Dr. Amidi grew up understanding how meaningful it is to bring healing to others because both of her parents were doctors. When she decided to go into medicine, she chose podiatry due to its focus on a specialized area. She looks forward to offering her foot and ankle expertise to care for the residents of Moses Lake and the Columbia Basin.
