Samaritan Behavioral Health
At Samaritan’s Behavioral Health Services, you will find providers and staff who participate in a holistic approach to care. Behavioral Health Services is conveniently located in the family medicine department, which helps to remove barriers or stigma for those needing outpatient treatment. With outpatient treatment, patients visit their behavioral and mental health providers during regular appointment hours.
The providers of Behavioral Health work closely with the referring and/or primary care providers in family medicine to provide integrated care, so everyone stays up-to-date regarding the coordinated treatments and care plans for their patients.
Behavioral and mental health providers include Teresa Hutsell, a board-certified advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and also an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP, PMHNP-BC); Nicole Avila-Parker, also a board-certified advanced practice psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC); Jonathan Ingram, a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and also an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP, PMHNP-BC); and Robert Muehlberger, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC).
Teresa diagnoses mental/behavioral conditions—such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, or other mental health concerns—and prescribes medications when needed as part of the treatment plans.
Nicole diagnoses mental/behavioral conditions, prescribes medications, and coordinates treatments and care plans for patients with anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns.
Jonathan diagnoses and treats mental/behavioral conditions—such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, or other mental health concerns. He also prescribes medications when needed as part of the treatment plans.
