Same-day Surgery
The Samaritan Short Stay Unit offers many same-day surgery procedures. Convenience is the major benefit to patients receiving same-day surgery. From admission to treatment to recovery, the goal of the same day surgery staff is to make each patient's brief stay at Samaritan as comfortable as possible and to have patients return home confident in the knowledge that they are on their road to recovery. The same-day surgery unit has 14 rooms.
Hours for the short stay unit are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. it is closed on holidays. Scheduling for all procedures is done through physician clinics.
