Mother and Baby Center
At the Leiv Kvamme Mother and Baby Center, we consider it a privilege to share in the birth of your baby. We share your enthusiasm and view our relationship with our patients as a special partnership. Our caring, compassionate and professional staff and provider culture is focused on mother and baby safety as everyone’s first priority. Our goal is for you to have a happy, safe and comfortable delivery.
Mother and Baby Center registered nurses, scrub tech and CNA’s are trained in all areas of providing care to mothers during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Our providers include 2 OB/GYN’s, twelve family practice providers, 2 nurse midwives, and 6 pediatricians.
The Mother and Baby Center is located on the second floor of Samaritan Hospital and includes 5 labor and delivery rooms, 12 private postpartum rooms, and one dedicated cesarean-section operating room. After delivery, your baby can remain in your room with you as much as you choose.
