Samaritan Healthcare’s in-house laboratory services are available round-the-clock to
provide vital information for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries on
a routine and emergency basis. For less immediate concerns Samaritan offers direct
access testing. Direct access testing means that patients can receive routine screening
tests without the need for a physician’s order.
Tests currently available include:
- Basic Chem Panel which includes cholesterol
(high density and low), triglycerides, glucose, electrolytes,
proteins and more $20
- TSH (thyroid function) $15
- PSA (prostate) $20
- CBC (blood count) $5
- Blood type $5
- Diabetes (HemoglobinA1c) $10
Tests are available on a walk-in basis 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday
thru Friday. Some tests require fasting, call the Samaritan
