As part of Samaritan Healthcare’s commitment to enhancing and
encouraging interest in the healthcare field, we will team up with
colleges/agencies/organizations who have a clinical program or a job
shadow program in place.
Requests for clinical placement or job shadow opportunities with
Samaritan Healthcare must be submitted to the Human Resources
department for approval. Once approved, the Human Resources
department will coordinate with the college/agency/organization to
make the arrangements (i.e. name, date, time, number of students,
computer requirements, etc.).
Students will be required to attend Bloodborne Pathogen and Infection
Control training, confidentiality instruction, and sign a
confidentiality agreement before they are allowed to start their
clinical rotation or job shadow experience. The level of training
required will vary depending on what is needed
Students will job shadow within the hospital campus unless otherwise
arranged and approved for transportation to the Pioneer Medical Center.
Job Shadowing: Parental consent must be obtained before a
student can participate in the job shadow, if required.
