COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Providing education and support for our patients and our community is a major part
of Samaritan Healthcare’s mission. Each year, we reach out to thousands of people
throughout the region with educational activities, community partnerships and wellness
services for the entire family in the following ways:

Health Matters Series
Samaritan and its Community Relations Department offers a variety of presentations
and seminars designed to help educate and strengthen the people of our community.
Whether you are dealing with a specific health problem or you are interested in
prevention, education is the key. Our “Health Matters” series is designed to give
you the knowledge that you need.
Some of our seminars include free screenings and evaluations that give you specific
information about your current health concerns. All seminars include a question and
answer segment where you are able to discuss your concerns with the healthcare provider
that is presenting the information. Through education, you can learn to make healthier
choices and improve your quality of life.
Check out our events calendar (include link here) to see what topics are being offered
at this time.
